Hi, my name is Chris and I am a Project Supervisor here at Spawn Ideas. This means I am in charge of managing a variety of projects for my clients, ranging in scale from multi-faceted campaigns with dozens of deliverables to one-off ad resizes. I always strive to make sure projects are completed on time and on budget, ultimately aiming to deliver an end result that exceeds our clients’ expectations.

Tell us about the journey that led you to join the Spawn team.

A born and raised Alaskan, I ventured nearly as far as I could from home for my undergraduate degree at American University in Washington, D.C. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and international marketing, I realized how much I missed my home state and started to look into opportunities that would allow me to move back. One thing led to another and I joined Spawn in early 2014 as an Account Coordinator. Six and a half years later, here I am!

What are you most proud of from your work here at Spawn?

I’m most proud of helping our clients consistently meet or exceed their business goals and objectives through efficient, thorough and detail-oriented project management. Seeing the final product live out in the world – whether it be a TV spot, eye-catching digital ad or creative out of home placement, is always satisfying.

What is your idea of success?

My idea of success is knowing the day-to-day work I do makes a genuine, positive difference both internally at the agency and externally for our clients and community.

What’s the best advice you were ever given, and who was it from?

“Listen intently. Don’t just hear the words and syllables—listen so you can understand and relate. Listen to learn. Open your mind up to comprehend what’s happening in the world around you and within you. Listen to empathize. Open your heart up to imagine what someone else is going through.” – Anonymous
